Enrico Cossutta, tenor
Encrico Cossutta started his career with Rossini's music (Il Barbiere di Sivigli and Kyros in Babylonia). He continued with Lucia di Lammermoor and Fanarico burlato by Cimarosa. He worked in La Scala (Traviata with Muti, and after that, Idomeneo, Veijarikreivi, Manon Lescaut conducted by Maazel). Cossutto participated to opera seasons in many Italian and foreign theaters and he sang with many of the great cinductors.

In 1996 in Naples, in Pesaro and in Venice he performed in Werther, Ricciardo,Zoraide and Tosca.

In 1997 he sang in Catania in Iris and in Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Parsifal, in Palacifenice in Venice in Carmen and In Firenze in La Fanciulla del West.

In 1998 he was in Venice in Stealing Magpie, in Bologna in Don Carlos, in Rome in La Traviata, in Naples in Friend Fritz, in Novara where he sang as Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor and in Bologna in Donizetti's Dom Sebastien.

Enrico Cossutta sang in the world premiere hundredth anniversary concert in Tapiola Hall in Espoo 24.9.1989, organized by our association.
